Manifesting for 6 Months Got Me a Job in Tech | by Sydney Williams
“Nothing ever manifests from your first, subtle attention to it. It takes time and attention to a subject to draw enough power to cause its manifestation.” - Abraham Hicks. Yes, you’ve heard right. Manifesting and putting intention and power into my thoughts helped me get an opportunity with Multiverse. But how and what exactly did I do? I watched a ton of Abraham Hicks manifestation videos on Youtube. Just kidding. Read my journey into the unknown below.
What Exactly is the Power of Manifestation?
- Manifestation takes an idea, a dream, a goal, or a vision and takes the necessary steps to make it a reality.
- The Latin word is “manifestare” which means “make public.”
Manifestation is the power of believing in something that makes you completely delusional. Think of manifestation as a vision or your imagination. Whatever you see in your mind, think or even say aloud can manifest into your wildest dreams or downfall. I took this imagination, spoke powerful affirmations and turned them into my reality.
Below are some of the affirmations I used:
- I am intelligent and creative
- I have a high-paying job in Tech
- I work at a well-known company in Tech
- I have the freedom to pay my rent and take care of myself
How Long did I Manifest for and How Often?
- Honestly, there’s no set amount of times that I manifested for. I just remember wanting to change my life drastically and I thought this way for years.
- I still have a journal from college saying powerful affirmations of what I wanted my life to look like now.
- I took photos from Pinterest, created a vision board, and looked at it every other day.
- I would then go back to this vision board and read my powerful affirmations. It was a habit. A discipline. A change I wanted to see by not only action but by thought.
Make sure to be careful with timing. If your manifestation isn’t happening immediately, don’t be worried. The universe rewards you right on time. Patience is key when making a vision come true. It can happen today, tomorrow, weeks, months or even years from now. Your belief has to be so strong, that you’ll trust the vision will come to fruition in due time.
The benefits I received from saying daily affirmations and meditation were unexpected. And that’s the thing. You manifest and then you forget. Through visual manifestation, I was able to receive an apprenticeship with Multiverse, which led me to an opportunity to work in Tech at a well-known Healthcare company. Through this, I was able to touch the taste of individual freedom.
Warning: Always set good intentions when manifesting.
