What do you enjoy most about your job?
I like that every day in my job role is different and the opportunities are endless! Mindshare has the vision to deliver 'Good Growth' which I strongly resonate with, there are so many things to get involved with and I love that I get to work with some of the top leaders in the industry.
Why did this role/industry appeal to you?
Marketing and Advertising have always been an interest to me and I wanted to gain extensive exposure to some of the big clients in the world! Mindshare definitely stood out to me when I was researching jobs, my role involves a lot of decision-making, analytical skills, and delivering successful Paid Social campaigns. It's an exciting industry to be part of and interesting to learn all the social media platforms and what they can offer for better performance that aligns with clients' KPIs.
How did doing a Multiverse apprenticeship support your career journey?
Multiverse has been an amazing journey and community to be part of for one reason being that every coach I had during the programme was invested in my development and career which has helped me achieve my goals and accelerate my growth both personally and professionally! The 1-1 monthly coaching sessions were definitely an excellent support space for me to develop the skills I needed to become a successful marketer and understand what I needed to do to excel in my qualification as well as at work.
What was the best part about doing a Multiverse apprenticeship?
A Multiverse Apprenticeship is not like any other apprenticeship provider! It has been one of the best decisions I've made for both my personal and professional development. Not only did Multiverse provide me with expert industry coaching and insightful bootcamp training throughout my journey, they also offered me excellent development opportunities within the Community. I joined the Elevate programme where I had access to exclusive content and events, and a chance to invest time in my growth and leadership skills whilst also building my personal brand and industry profile. Elevate helped me massively and allowed me to transfer the skills I gained into my everyday work. I was lucky enough to win the 'Community Builder Award' as recognition for the effort I put in and for becoming an integral part of the Multiverse Community!
What achievement are you most proud of since completing your apprenticeship?
Since completing my Apprenticeship in September 2022, I attended the Multiverse Commencement in November and was pleased to have been nominated and shortlisted by my coach for an award which was one of my proud moments. I was humbled to have also been nominated by my colleagues for Mindshare's 25th Birthday to celebrate employees who embody energy, empathy, and impact. Overall, I'm pleased to have now completed my apprenticeship as it has allowed me to continue to love my job and do something that I enjoy.
What advice would you give to current apprentices who want to progress in a similar role?
Don't be afraid of reaching out and asking questions with your colleagues or anyone in your professional network about the next step in your career! Stay motivated, be confident, and take every opportunity that comes your way.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to do a Multiverse apprenticeship?
In my opinion, Multiverse has been the main pillar of my success in my role, it is once in a lifetime opportunity if you want to invest time in your growth and development as well as achieve a nationally recognised qualification. Additionally, I'd say to network wherever you have the ability to do so but Multiverse makes this very easy with their incredible community that is filled with events, workshops, and groups to be part of.
