Skills Booster Courses Have Arrived!

We have just released the first two Skills Booster courses: Presentation Skills and Data Visualisation. Both aimed to build essential skills and to prepare you for the work environment. Apprentices can access these on the Community Hub at any time and learn at their own pace. These courses will be interactive, short in length, and count towards OTJ. See these courses below! 

Presentation Skills Course 

According to the National Institute of Mental Health, public speaking anxiety affects about 73% of the population. This Presentation skills course will help you to gain comprehensive, practical skills that any successful presenter needs to master. These skills include understanding the preparation that is required for an effective presentation, improving the use of your body language and tone of voice to become a more engaging presenter, and using visual aids that are suitable and supportive. By the end of the course, you will have learnt how to create and deliver a presentation that gets the message across with impact and confidence.

Data Visualisation Course

Data visualisation is becoming increasingly important in today's data-driven world. With vast amounts of data being generated every day, it's crucial to be able to communicate complex data sets effectively. The Data Visualisation course will teach you how to create effective visualisations using different chart types such as line charts, bar charts, pie charts, area charts, and scatter plots. By the end of the course, you will have a solid foundation in data visualisation and the skills to communicate your data sets with ease.
